Pray to Prevent Abortion of Down's Syndrome Child

Brothers and Sisters -

After mass this morning, our Pastor mentioned a special prayer intention. There is an unborn baby at 23 weeks gestation in South Dakota. In that state, abortions are legal until 24 weeks. The baby has Down’s syndrome and the parents intend to abort if adoptive parents do not come forward within the next week. Please pray that someone steps forward to adopt or that that the parents have a change of heart.

Holy Mother, St. Joseph, St. Anne, please ask our Lord to pour out his spirit upon this family. Please ask that he fill the hearts of these parents with light and love, so that they may know what a beautiful gift this dear child will be or to send angels that will ensure someone else steps in to do His holy will. Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus, O merciful, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

I love you very much.
I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby that is in danger of abortion in South Dakota. Pray for this innocent child Oh Holy Virgin of Guadalupe, Protectress of the Unborn, that this baby though it has Down’s Syndrome may not be rejected but be accepted by a loving, caring, adoptive family here on earth.

We ask this through your Son, Our Lord.

Command that your servants in proximity to this event step forward to do Your will.
Send angels to save this child, and as you produced conversion in Your beloved Saint Paul,
turn the hearts of these parents, that they may proclaim a decision to abide in Your will,
unto the glory of the Father.

pray for this child,
and hold it safe,
unto the glory of God.

Saint Paul,
you know the drama of a converted heart.
Pray for these parents, that the Holy Spirit will anticipate them in mercy.

Prayers going up for this precious baby.

An acquaintance of mine was told her child would have Downs syndrome and was advised to have an abortion. She refused. Many prayers went up for her and praise god the baby was born perfectly normal and will soon be celebrating her first birthday!!!
 
Lord, please intercede on behalf of this child that deserves to be born, please give the parents strength and understanding to see the gift that every child is. Please grant this family a loving and life supporting community to help them as they struggle with understanding your will for them and for this child. May they see that all life is a precious gift.
 
St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God. I place in you all my interests and desires. Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers.

I pray especially that this child with down syndrome not be aborted it cannot defend itself against adults and so satan is keen to slay the innocent. Please save this child.

Oh, St. Joseph, I never weary of contemplating you, and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me and ask him to return the Kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls - Pray for me, now and at the hour of my death and intercede for this unborn in the womb so that he(or she) is not slain. Obtain for him adoptive parents St Joseph!

May God bless this sweet child in her mother’s womb. May God bless the heart of this dear mother and let her know everything is all right to give birth to her most precious child. May God bless the heart of this dear father and let him know God is with him and his child.

May God bless the heart of every one in the abortion world that they see the beauty of each child. May God bless parents who will welcome this child into their home with loving arms. May God bless this faithful servant priest who is asking us all to pray for this family.

Do you know if your parish or a local pregnancy center can host a baby shower for this family? Sometimes feeling the love of others, helps families in “crisis pregnancies” to endure their pains and embrace their child.)
