I very recently started praying to St. Monica to help myself and my daughter, who is having a lot of doubts about the faith right now. My daughter hasn’t wanted to discuss anything with me and would get very angry when I tried to talk. Within 2 days of praying my daughter was willing to have a short discussion about her feelings. St. Monica is powerful!

St. Monica, pray for us.

I have my novena app. set up to start a novena to her on the 18th . There are quite a few apps. available to help you through this and many other novenas if you’re interested.

I have an app and was going to wait until the 18th but wanted to start now!

I’ve been asking her for prayers quite a lot since I “came out” Catholic to my Baptist family before officially entering the Church. I’m confident she’ll help in bringing them and lots of my Protestant friends into the Church one day, as her prayers helped win her husband, and her son St. Augustine to the Church.

I frequently do them "off schedule"😉. I tend to be, for lack of a better description, a topical novena sayer. If I have something on my heart, there’s usually a Saint for it! And sometimes a Saint “finds” me and I’ll go searching for a prayer or novena to say to my new friend.

I am also praying for conversions/ the return of family members to the faith. At times I remember how long she prayed for. It can be a reminder not to give up but sad when you don’t have that much time or holiness.
