Jesus taught us to pray “lead us not into temptation”. When we sense the coming temptation, avoid it by all means. Do not allow ourselves to be tested. I’ll keep you in my prayers
Thank you InLight I can use all the prayer coverage:gopray2: I can get right now!! I’ll keep you posted!!

I promised to share some thoughts after finishing reading the book “The Amazing Secret of Souls in Purgatory, An Interview with Maria Simma”. It indeed is a good book, brief and to the point.

Maria Simma has her priest’s guidance and her bishop’s approval for her ministry.

Her first hand experience of encountering the souls in Purgatory is interesting.

Here are a few key points I picked up:
  • Charity covers a multitude of sins.
  • Humility is the greatest weapon against evil.
  • The devil has permission to attack souls at the moment of death.
  • God gives each one several minutes at the moment of death for final choice.
  • Contrition and repentance are critical at the moment of death.
  • Sins against charity, against the love of one’s neighbor, hardness of heart, hostility, calumny are sins most lead to Purgatory.
  • Offer a Mass is the most effective way to deliver the souls in Purgatory.
  • Praying the Rosary and the Station of the Cross are also effective.
  • The offering of our sufferings is another powerful way to help the poor souls.
  • The Mother of God goes to the Purgatory to release souls. Jesus does not go there.
  • Those who have a good heart towards everyone have the greatest chance of going straight to Heaven.

Am so glad you liked it InLight - thank you again for the prayers…they were a great comfort and help and the situation has resolved itself as of today - AND - both the words of the priest who I saw concerning this situation and the readings today were a great comfort as well! pax/caritas - Dmari:thumbsup:
