My family has been battling MRSA for the past several weeks (for those who don’t know, mrsa is an infection that lives in your body causing abcesses and nasty infections only treatable by a couple of antibiotics). As you can imagine, it’s nasty and awful. I have been in three times to have an area laced and draind, my husband twice and my sister’s twice, my mom and dad both once. When an infection starts for me it will not go away unless it is drained. Not only was it a painful procedure it is draining our bank account.
So the other day i started getting an infection on my toe. It was getting bigger and bigger and it was hard to walk. I knew the next day I would have to go in. That night I started crying and I begged st. Jude to pray for me to get rid of the thing on my toe. I went to sleep, the infection was huge and red and swollen. I kid you not, the next morning when I woke up the swelung had gone down and the abcesses had reduced to what looked like a small bruise! Ithe is not completely gone. I am so shocked and I continue to pray now that mrsa is out of our live’s for good.

God bless you! :blessyou:

Thanksgiving to St. Jude for favor granted. May you and your family be healed of this condition. Praying for you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with our Father, forever and ever. Amen. St. Jude, pray for us.

I’m not sure where you’re from but I’m a health professional in my country and I would get a swab test to see if you still have the bacteria next time you go. It’s highly contagious so please keep the wounds covered up until you know… but I hope it’s getting better!

I’m from the US 🙂 it has been such a battle I’m most of all worried about my one year old getting it! But so far she is untouched.
