Prayer against surgical contraception

My cousin just recently found out that she was pregnant with her 4th child and her husband and she didn’t want anymore children. The tone of the conversation was very negative and I worry about the possibility of her getting a tubal ligation or having her husband get a vasectomy. There is a very large possibility that will happen. Both of them are Catholics but don’t understand that contraception is forbidden. They have taken on the negative view that most people in society have which is to prevent children that you don’t want but still continue to engage in sexual intercourse. It seems they are too lazy to practice NFP or abstinence. I am praying that they realize what they are doing is wrong. From what I understand, they are going to have the baby, but I am praying that they don’t resort to any extremes.

They have pretty much made the decision that one of them is going to get surgically “fixed” so they won’t have anymore children. I’m going to be praying these next months during her pregnancy that they will change their minds and use NFP as the Church allows.
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known

implored thy help,
and sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.

Inspired with this confidence,

Praying that your cousin and her husband receive a special grace from God that allows them to consider NFP instead of contraception. May someone be able to influence them and help them to see how wrong it is to contracept. Amen.
