This is a thread for those who would like to do some spiritual warfare on this day. We have a ProLife march in town but I’ll be unable to attend it due to work. My intention for the day is to offer Mass in reparation for the sin of abortion, do a 1/2 hour of adoration on top of my usual daily prayers, and do some fasting (probably skip lunch).
If any one wants to chime in, we can support each other. I am increasingly sickened by abortion; I am surrounded it seems by “feminists” who are completely pro-abortion. I could use the pro-life support as I so often feel discouraged and helpless in this battle. There’s got to be some turning point ahead and I hope to do my little bit to join the fight.

Lots of people are pro life! do not be discouraged!
Have you heard of the Nineveh 90 thing to end abortion? Might be a little late but if you’d want you could do some of the things if you can!

I’m doing the 90 day Nineveh 90 for Life prayer and penance program with the main intention being anti-abortion, so since that started on Jan 1 and will be going up through the Easter Vigil, it will be just another day on that program for me.

I see Jan 22 is a Monday and although the fast days for the prayer program are Wednesday and Friday, I moved my fast day to Monday and Friday because I do the bread and water fast Monday to help get a priest’s soul out of Purgatory as described by Eliabeth Kindelmann in her “Flame of Love” diary (she says Mary instructed her to do this). So, I reckon I will be doing my bread fast on that day along with all the prayers for the Nineveh 90 and the other prayers I normally do myself.

Yeah, you can totally jump on board with Nineveh 90, don’t worry about being late.
I’ve been keeping up with the prayer and fasting pretty well but haven’t been able to do the exercise part yet because we have been having too much snow and extremely cold weather. Hoping to start the exercise later this week as I had my husband get my exercise bike and bring it up to where I stay when I’m working, so I can ride it indoors there.

I just wanted to point out that if anybody wants to do a anti-abortion prayer/ fasting/ vigil program for their Lenten project, they should check out 40 Days for Life. I won’t be doing it as I’m already committed to doing Nineveh 90 which runs all through Lent, but it looks like a worthwhile program, involving prayer, fasting, and other stuff and coordinated through local parishes.

I decided to take a vacation day today to attend our local Cathedral prayer service and march to the capitol (we’re the state capitol) for Life. We were expecting a big snow but it hasn’t happened, and perhaps will hold off. To be honest this is the first ProLife march I’ve done. It has been nagging at me to get involved.
i will look up the 40 Days for Life–thanks for the suggestion!
