Let’s pray that while they are in prayer, the angels of God give them protection from the spiritual battle that is certain to take place in the Sistine Chapel - among the powers and principalities - between the good and the evil.

We pray also, dear Lord, that you give discernment to your Cardinals that they see beyond the human face and personality and that Your judgment might supercede the human.
