Prayer for a baby with Turner Syndrome

Hi all, this prayer is for the unborn baby of a friend of mine. She is pregnant with her fifth child and just found out the little girl has Turner Syndrome. Apparently, it’s so bad the doctors have been urging my friend to abort the baby, but she refuses to do so knowing God is in control.
She has been warned that it is extremely unlikely that she will actually give birth because, for her safety, they may have to surgically remove the child.
Please, please pray for her, her baby, and the rest of her family as they struggle with this.
This situation is in God’s hands and I just pray for His will to be done.

Prayers indeed.

I have someone who has Turners Syndrome in the family. She, thanks to God, has had an almost perfectly normal and healthy life, so much so, in fact, that she was only discovered to have Turners when she was in her mid-teens. I know there are plenty who are not so lucky, though.
 
My cousin has a Turner syndrom child. She will be 20 in June. She has such classic beauty. Yes, she has had extensively hormone therapy. Outside of being quite petite, one would never know.

In her case it’s just one of those things that is…her.

My prayers with God’s graces…
 
Prayer to St. Anthony for the Health of an Expectant Mother and Her Unborn Child
Glorious St. Anthony, you were blessed to hold the Infant Jesus in your arms. I come to you now on behalf of (this mother expecting her 5th child diagnosed with Turners Syndrome) who pleads for the health and safety of the child that God has graced her to conceive.

St. Anthony, guard this life God has created, and the mother God has chosen for this child. Let your gentle hand, like that of a skilled physician, aid in her delivery so that this baby will know good health and lasting happiness.

May her child be favored with the grace of holy baptism, and grow to love our Lord Jesus Christ above all else in this world. Amen.

Lord, please help this baby to be delivered safely and to live a long life, and bless this family with all the graces they need to get through this. May the mother and child receive the best of medical care and may both be protected equally. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

O Good Saint Anne,
who had the incomparable privilege of bringing into the world
Her who was to become the Mother of God,
I come to place myself
under your special care.

I confide myself to you,
together with the child I am carrying.
Thousands of children owe you,
Glorious Mother of Mary,
the life of the body and the grace of baptism.
Hence I wish, in my turn,
to place my whole confidence in you.
Make me keep in mind the precautions I need to take
so as not to endanger in any way the health,
good qualities or the eternal salvation
of the child whose very existence
God has placed in my care.

Obtain for me
the virtues you did teach Her who was to be the Mother of God,
so that I may afterwards
instil and develop them
in the heart of my child.

O Good Saint Anne,
protect me today and forever.
I know that you will not refuse your intercession
to a mother who invokes you with confidence.

Hello,
I just found this site and am 13 weeks pregnant with our first child, who has been diagnosed with Turners. Please add our daughter, Olivia Grace to your prayers. We were also suggested to abort, but after 2 1/2 years trying to conceive this child I have faith that God has a better plan for her.
