as some of you know, i am a convert.
as some of you also know, while i grew up in a Christian home, i spent a lot of time in non Christian religions… and in business specifically catering to the pagan/new age/etc community.
i have slowly moved my business away from that, and no longer carry items that are problematic. this took some time and effort, and yes i lost a lot of income.
especially in todays economy… thats not easy.

i am asking for prayers that my business be able to support me, that i be able to resist the temptation to carry items that are not suitable to my faith as a Catholic.

i am also asking for prayers for my personal life and finances
as i take a HUGE leap in my life.
i am going back to school, at 40 mumble.

i will, God and finances willing, be attending school for Fashion design, learning how to make patterns, and run a business. i have always loved textiles, and have been involved in textiles all my life, so this made sense to me.

in the long run, i hope to make a living making modest , but flattering, clothing.

and as always, please pray for my marriage, and for my husbands spiritual life.

I’ll pray for you. The world needs more modest, flattering clothing.

Lord, thank you for all you are doing in fabricdragon’s life. Help her to continue being a strong and faithful witness to you and bless her business with new and happy clients who will keep her business profitable. May she do well in school and prosper in making us attractive modest clothing, something the women of today definitely need. Bless her husband spiritually and deepen this couples’ love for one another and commitment to one another. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

Friend,

Best wishes on your return to school and your new business focus.

Be assured of my prayers.

Peace,
Kathleen

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen
:signofcross:

Praying that you are able to continue the business without selling items that are contrary to the faith and that you do well in school …
