Prayer for a dying man

My friend Dustin’s father, Richard I think is his name, has had a heart attack, and is comatose, and on life support. His health was not good previously. He has had a rocky life to say the least.

Please pray that his soul will be in the good graces of God, especially through the intercession of our Blessed Mother, Mary.

Prayer for Healing Heart Disease

Loving Father, you bring healing to the sick and make them well again.
Trusting in your great love and mercy, and believing that
whatever I ask from you in the name of your Son, Jesus,
You will grant me if it is what is best and in accordance with your Divine Will,

I lift up to You Richard, who is in need of healing of his heart disease.
Hear my prayers and bring Richard into your loving presence.

Let the grace of your divine love flow to the different parts of his body,
reaching the inner recesses of his being.
Touch his heart and all the areas afflicted with sickness
and let his body organs function normally.
Touch his blood vessels and arteries and let his blood flow properly.

Bring healing to all his nerves, muscles and tissues,
especially those surrounding his heart.
Console him, ease his pain and suffering and restore him
to full health in body, mind and spirit.

May he find hope in his suffering and offer it as a share in your own passion.
Create a new heart in him and renew his life, loving Father.
And after he has been healed, may he be a witness of your
healing power and love and bring glory, honor and praise to you.

All these we pray in Jesus’ name through Mary with all the angels and saints.

Prayer to the Blessed Virgin to Obtain a Good Death

O Mary, conceived without stain, pray for us who fly thee. Refuge of sinners, Mother of those who are in their agony, leave us not in the hour of our death, but obtain for us perfect sorrow, sincere contrition, remission of our sins, a worthy reception of the most holy viaticum, the strengthening of the Sacrament of Extreme Unction, so that we may be able to stand with safety before the throne of the just but merciful Judge, our God and our Redeemer. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Richard. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Richard’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
 
Thank you for your prayers. Richard passed away last night. I will continue to pray for his soul.
