A dear friend who has been there for me is carrying a heavy load and I know would appreciate the prayers of others. Her brother died a few weeks ago. He was alcoholic. She now hears that her daughter is pregnant and due in Dec. The good thing is that the baby will not be aborted, but the daughter never told her until now and they are trying to decide what to do to help. Please pray for her, Thank you.

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, pay heed to my cry, turn your ear to my prayer, no deceit is on my lips. Amen

My warm sympathy to your friend regarding her brother. I have four brothers, one an alcoholic, who died in 2002 in a single car accident. He had returned to the Sacraments a month before, but I understand something of her sadness…and ask You Lord to comfort her.
Jesus please give her and her family the means to help their pregnant daughter and her baby. Please let Your light and Your love surround each member of the family

Although we have may difficulty in seeing divine action within our lives, we have a God whose “strength does not lie in numbers, nor Your might in violent men, since You are God of the humble, the help of the oppressed, the support of the weak, the refuge of the forsaken, the saviour of the despairing.” [Judith 9:14-16]

Please give Your strength to M’s suffering friend.

Lord please comfort her in her loss of her brother
Jesus please give her and her family the means to help their pregnant daughter and her baby. We ask your blessing on mother and child.
