Tomorrow, Tuesday, I am making the
2 1/2 hr. drive to the big city in the desert to look for an apartment. I am asking for prayer for a safe journey. Today I received really bad news about the taxes I will owe next year.
I need to know God’s will if I should move now or wait until 2019. Unless I find a really affordable apartment, my new beginning might already be postponed. Praying for God’s will!

Thank you for your prayers.
I had a nice 3 day trip to the city I hope to relocate to. I got to visit my favorite
Catholic bookstore that is still in business. Purchased a few items.
Looked at several apartments, but after waking up on Thursday night at 2 am, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said - now is not the time. I would be using so much money from my savings and I have 4 huge tax payments to make between now and next January. Working right now is not an option because it would mean even more taxes next year.
I accomplished the goal in selling my house and I accomplished my goal of
buying a newer used car and I think I need to take time to rethink my move instead of jumping right into it - especially having to use more savings.
The Holy Spirit put upon me it is not a good idea right now.
So I am giving myself another 6 months before making the decision. In that time, I can get the tax payments out of the way.
I think 6 months is a good adjustment time after the upheaval of the past 9 1/2 years. Plus, I have a reliable car now I can drive down and see my friends when I want to.
So I was blessed with getting my house sold and blessed I have a reliable car now. I also went through the annulment process for two years and got that over and done with so I think it is wise I go slow and make the right decision on my next move.

Eternal and everliving God,
I am involved in a major chang in my life,
and it is quite unsettling.
I know that for us creatures,
change is an indication of life,
but I still find it hard to accept.
Enable me to see your hand in it,
subtly bringing about your plan for me
and enabling me to come closer to You.
Make me appreciate the many good aspects of change
and learn to live with the bad aspects.
Teach me to be pliable
and adaptable to any change,
fully aware that once change stops me,
I will no longer be alive on this earth.
Amen.
