Prayer for a recently passed friend

I found out today that a friend passed away. I was wondering if anyone had some good prayers? I want to pray for him and for his family and all those around me that are so hurt by his passing. thanks in advance guys
 
Sorry to hear about that. May I suggest you pray the Sorrowful Mysteries? It’s not a very creative answer, I know, but sometimes there’s nothing better than good old-fashioned Rosary, and this type of occasion is usually one of those times.
