Please pray for me that I may have a true conversion of heart, mind, body and soul. I am a 40-year-old man who has had the desire to become a true practitioner of the Catholic faith for my entire life, but I always seem to fall away. I prayer for purity but give in to lust. I pray for patience put give in to anger. I pray for peace but give in to depression. I pray for resolve but give in to procrastination. My good intentions return, but they quickly die away – I feel like I’m the hard ground in Jesus’ parable, where the seeds land and begin to sprout but never take root.

I am currently cut off from the sacraments, as my wife and I were married outside the Church many years ago. She does has allowed me to have our children receive the sacraments but has no apparent desire to adopt the faith herself.

I am truly afraid that if I don’t change, I will end up in hell. I may lead my family there along the way, if I do not serve as an example of faith.

Pray for me and my family, please.

Father please lead Cimachol in the way You desire him to live and witness.
Please give a multitude of graces to him and his family.

Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil. Amen

St. Paul, please intercede for our petition that Cimachol be brought to the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. Lord, give him and his family the power of your grace to effect in their lives fortitude, magnanimity, and charity always. Foster in Cimachol’s life virtue that conquers lust. Grant him and his family the helping power of angels for this cause. Mary, pray with us. Amen. :gopray2:

God is merciful, and understands our weaknesses. He allows us our trials and temptations to be a place of training. You are called to purity so you have the temptation to lust. etc.
You are called to build up you spiritual muscles in each of these areas. Go to confession as often as you fall, and meet Jesus there, where you will get a fresh start and new training tips.
Don’t let your weaknesses keep you from Christ and his sacraments, that’s what they are for.
Get your marriage situation cleaned up ( ask your priest how to do this), so you can receive all the graces needed.
We all are called to constant conversion. The good news is that Jesus loves us where we are, and will pick us up when we fall and ask for help. Humility is the chain that holds all the other virtues together. Your post is full of humility.

Dear Cimachol if you have not already done so why not make an appointment to go and speak to a priest. You may be surprised the amount of understanding and help a priest can offer to you with your circumstances. I shall indeed pray for you and your wife but find out where you stand and talk with a priest.Never forget God’s love for you!

God bless you

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Lord God, hear our prayers for Cimachol. Please touch his heart, mind, and soul. Give him strength, patience, and a strong faith in Your loving mercy and forgiveness. I pray that he is led back to the church and develops a stronger relationship with you. May he become a true and shining example of faith in You for those he meets. All these I ask in the name of Jesus, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. AMEN.

St. Michael, pray for him
Blessed John Paul II, pray for him
Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, pray for him

Angels and Saints, especially Our Lady, please pray for Cimachol and his family.

Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Father please kindly grant this intention according to the beatitudes.

Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil. Amen

I posted the above prayer about 14 months ago. Today I pray in thanksgiving that I have now had my marriage blessed, am in full Communion with the Church, and have experienced God’s grace over the last year in so many ways. I no longer feel a slave to sin, but a man free to continuing growing in love and service for God. My heart overflows with joy on this Divine Mercy Sunday.

I thank all who prayed for me. Above all I praise the Lord who answers prayers. Great is our God. Alleluiah!

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.

O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
