I’m currently in RCIA, and I wanted to ask for your prayers. It seems like Sundays have become the times where I am tempted the most and tormented the most by Scrupulosity, bitterness and all kinds of inner demons that bubble to the surface. I’m going to see my spiritual director about this, because it’s starting to become a pattern that I feel might be one of many ways the Devil is using to discourage me from even trying to follow the Holy Spirit in my day to day life (trying to follow inspirations by the Holy Spirit can be really hard when you have OCD and mental issues).

I don’t want to cry “Demon” everytime something goes wrong, but it seems to happen every time we go through scripture. I would just like to ask for your prayer, that I would repent of whatever sins might be aggravating this And that I would somehow be converted from trying to compartmentalizations my relationship with God.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your time of need. God bless you on your RCIA journey.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

†

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

†

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

O Heart of Love, I place all my trust in Thee, for though I fear all things from my own weakness, I hope all things from Thy goodness.

O purest heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, obtain for me from Jesus a pure and humble heart. Amen.

Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God
cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

I pray that God may help you to set aside distracting thoughts and anxieties, so that you may be receptive to the Gospel, that very good news of God’s constant love and providence, and of our calling to love and provide for those around us.

Saying prayers for you, Bdonoho. May God bless you in all you do, and keep you in his grace forever. amen.

Thank you all for your grace and love. I truly am grateful to all of you and I pray that God would bless all of you who have taken time to lift up my petition.

Prayer for the Help of the Holy Spirit

O God, send forth your Holy Spirit into our hearts that we may perceive, into our minds, that we may remember, and into our souls that we may meditate. Inspire us to speak with piety, holiness, tenderness and mercy. Teach, guide and direct our thoughts and senses from beginning to end. May your grace ever help and correct us, and may we be strengthened now with wisdom from on high, for the sake of your infinite mercy. Amen.

Hi bdonoho,

Prayers said for you.

May God bless you during this stressful time.

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed by Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
