Please pray for Drew who could have died in an automobile crash( his jaw broken in 2 places)… I believe who now on pain medicine(from accident and a 5 day stay in hosp) is still using. His father still drinking… their relationship is still very strained. Please help them see - to seek treatment

And support for myself in these trials. I don’t believe I can continue living in this situation God Bless you all

through the intercession of St. Maximina,
look down upon Thy people
that they may be strengthened unto piety,
obtain the remission of their sins,
be delivered from the devil and his deceits,
be filled with the Holy Spirit,

Prayer for the Addicted

God of mercy, we bless You in the Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, Who ministered to all who came to Him. Give Your strength and healing to Drew and his father. Enfold them in Your love and restore them to the freedom of God’s children.

Lord, look with compassion on all those who have lost their health and freedom. Restore to them the assurance of Your unfailing mercy, strengthen them in the work of recovery, and help them to resist all temptation.

To those who care for them, grant patience and understanding and a love that perseveres. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give

    And, help him to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.

God of life, You made me in Your perfect image, to live in Your love and to give You glory, honor and praise. Open my heart to Your healing power. Come, Lord Jesus, calm my soul just as you whispered “Peace” to the stormy sea. St. Jude, most holy Apostle, in my need I reach out to you. I beg you to intercede for me that I may find strength to overcome my illness. Bless all those who struggle with addiction. Touch them, heal them, reassure them of the Father’s constant love. Remain at my side, St. Jude, to chase away all evil temptations, fears, and doubts. May the quiet assurance of your loving presence illuminate the darkness in my heart and bring lasting peace. Amen.

We turn to our Saints in Heaven for intercessory prayer. For all of us, but especially for the intentions of the petitioner in this thread, bmofield on behalf of Drew and all addicts still struggling with the disease.

Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen, Pray for us.

St. John XXIII pray for us
St. Michael the Archangel, pray for us.
 
God come and Be with Drew and his family in times of Crisis.
-Eternal Father We offer you the body, blood, soul, and divinity of your dearly beloved son our lord Jesus Christ
-For the sake of his sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the Whole world
-Holy God, Holy mighty one, Holy immortal one, Have mercy on us and on the whole world.
-Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion — inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

Please pray for my friend Steve who is 36 and on a permanent ventlator. And my friend Molly who is Blind and after a year of sobriety has some lonely days. And maybe for me you has not been to confession in 6 months because of sins of the flesh.
