Prayer for adoption

Would you please pray for my daughter and her husband’s next adoption. My daughter is having trouble with her 3 year old’s behavior and is wondering if they should adopt another child. They are meeting with the birth mother tomorrow for the first time and she is due in the next month. My daughter is such a “perfectionist” and is so hard on herself in many ways so I think she just needs reassured, but would you please pray for His will to be done with this precious little one soon to be born. Thank you so much!

Dear M, every child’s different and the little guy is finding his way. Your daughter is more accustomed to girls in the family therefore a boisterous little boy is an adventure. A priest once said to me, “Your boys are boisterous, but they think more deeply about things than other children their ages.” They’re lovely, loving men. We all doubt our parenting at times, so I hope and pray your daughter can feel confident that God will provide the graces and wisdom needed along with the new little baby.
I have always maintained that each child should come with a manual…each is such a voyage of discovery! And you do have doubts at times as to the parenting.
I’ve remembered things that in hindsight I’d do differently…but say that to my ‘boys’ and the response is, “Oh Mum!!!”…meaning, don’t be so silly Mum you did okay where I’m concerned. My Dad troubled himself in the interim years…and in the end he said, “You think you’re doing the wrong thing, and then you feel you’ve done everything wrong, but in the end you know you handled things the right way”…and he said many times how proud of each of us he was.

Know that I am praying for your daughter and her family, and you all.

Father you are always all knowing may your will be done for the good of all in this situation.

Give peace you have given us that it may be given though the petitioner or by intercessors of your choosing.

Praying for your daughter!! Trust in God. Sometimes it seems he is handing us a ridiculous burden, but years later we look back and see His great wisdom and compassion.

God our Father please grant the prayers of this loving family to be able to welcome this little baby soon into their midst. May this new child be exactly what M’s grandson is needing in his life, to the child’s own blessing and benefit, and the blessing and benefit of all M’s family.
Please may her trust in the family to which she entrusts her child give comfort to the birth mother
