Prayer for alcoholic son

I humbly request prayer for my 25 year old alcoholic son, Nick, who is struggling greatly once again. His disease has broken his relationship with God. Nick is such a wonderful man with a terrible condition. Thank you in advance for your help.
 
May the Lord aid him and may he console you. I will be praying for you and your son throughout the day.
 
I pray that Nick will be safe in Jesus arms and that he finds the strentgh and courage he needs to overcome this addiction.

Exemplary Mother of the great Augustine, you perseveringly pursued your wayward son not with wild threats but with prayerful cries to heaven. Intercede for this mother and her son so that they draw closer to God and to each other. By your intercession, may this prodical son return to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Amen.
 
Praying for you and your son.

Have you heard of Cenacolo? It is a group of houses for those with drug and alcohol issues. I know someone whose son was a drug addict, and she was convinced that the only way the trouble would end was with his death. He entered a Cenacolo, she thought he’d leave in a week, he stayed for 3 years and now helps to run one. If you want to know more, please PM me or post here.

I hope that Nick will be able to recover from the terrible illness of alcohol addiction.

God of mercy, we bless You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who ministered to all who come to Him. Give Your strength to N., Your servant, bound by the chains of addiction. Enfold him in Your love and restore him to the freedom of God’s children. Lord, look with compassion on all those who have lost their health and freedom. Restore to them the assurance of Your unfailing mercy, and strengthen them in the work of recovery. To those who care for them, grant patient understanding and a love that perseveres. I feel your pain. I am going through the same situation and am devistated. I worry about his life, his death, I am at my end. He won’t go to rehab. I pray that you and your family find the peace that has eluded mine. My God bless you, your family. May the angels + saints intercede on your behalf. May you all be blessed.
