**Lord Jesus, once You called the first disciples in order to make them fishers of men. Continue to let resound today Your sweet invitation:
" Come and follow Me."
Grant to young men and women the grace of responding promptly to Your voice. Sustain our Bishops, priests and consecrated souls in their apostolic work. Give perseverance to our seminarians and to all who are fulfilling the ideal of a life of total consecration to Your service.
Enkindle in our communities a missionary zeal. Send, Lord, workers into Your fields and do not let mankind be lost because of a lack of pastors, missionaries, and people dedicated to the cause of the Gospel.
Mary, Mother of the Church, model of vocations, help us say “yes” to the Lord who calls us to collaborate in the divine design of salvation. Amen.

Lord, guide all seminarians and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Empower and enlighten them to the Truth and give them courage and perseverence in their studies and ministries, Amen.

Loving God,

We thank your for your many blessings in our lives, and today we especially thank you for all your people who hear your call and respond to the need for loving priests in our Holy Church. Please bless all seminarians and help them in their formation so they will be fully prepared to love and serve You and your people in their ministry. Help them to express their unique gifts in their priesthood, and to guide and shepherd your people with great love. Please bless the efforts of all who pray for vocations and who support our seminarians both spiritually and financially as they make their journey towards the life you have called them to. Please grant them special graces in the counselling and consoling aspects of their ministry, and help them to spread the Good News with passion and creativity as they feed your lambs. Thank you Lord for each of these blessed seminarians, and help all of us to support them in their development and formation.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

O Lord Jesus Christ, great High Priest, I pray that You call many worthy souls
to Your

holy priesthood. Enlighten the Bishop in the choice of candidates, the
Spiritual Director

in molding them, and the professors in instructing them. Lead the seminarians
daily

in Your unerring footsteps; so that they may become priests who are models of
purity,

possessors of wisdom and heroes of sacrifice; steeped in humility and aflame
with love

for God and man; apostles of Your glory and sanctifiers of souls. Amen.

Mary, Queen of the Clergy, pray for us.
