Prayer for all who battle addictions, to be set free!

**I know so many people who constantly struggle with addictions to different things…the strange thing is that most addictions seem related.

Usually, the addicted to drugs, are also addicted to alcohol and sex. And, vice versa.

The addicted to one thing, as they try to battle to control that addiction, suddenly shuffle their addiction to something else.

Lord, please help dispel the darkness of addictions…**

Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Oh Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us. I trust in You!

Dear Lord, on this glorious day of Your Ressurection when You defeated death and set man free of his sins, I ask you to pour out your graces on those souls suffering from addictions and help free them from their chains to slavery. May they all experience You in a special way this Easter and come to seek help from those who can help them. Grant them the grace to recognize that they have a serious problem and grant them the courage and strength to do battle with their addictions. May they receive a warm gentle calling of Your Spirit to find healing and a renewed life of prayer. Blessed Mother, intercede for their souls this day and throughout their lives that they may make the right choices and seek to be reconciled to a life in Christ free from slavery to oppression. I ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

You are my peace.
You are my salvation.
You are my serenity in moments of struggle and amidst an ocean of doubts.
