I am almost halfway through completing my RN to BSN degree and I’m very discouraged. One of the courses is extremely difficult plus I feel abandoned by most of my family. Need prayers.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven hallowed be Thy name Thy kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Praying hard for improvement in you schooling and family situations.

Prayer for Doctors and Nurses

O merciful Father, who have wonderfully fashioned man in your own image, and have made his body to be a temple of the Holy Spirit, sanctify, we pray you, our doctors and nurses and all those whom you have called to study and practice the arts of healing the sick and the prevention of disease and pain. Strengthen them in body and soul, and bless their work, that they may give comfort to those for whose salvation your Son became Man, lived on this earth, healed the sick, and suffered and died on the Cross. Amen.

Praying for you! Third year going on fourth year BScN student who just got super burned out this semester.

Crenfro you are in my prayers. I will ask St. Alexius, along with St. Agatha to help you with your studies.

There are up to eight (!) patron saints of nursing. You’ve got loads of Heavenly help! brnathan.wordpress.com/2007/04/27/patron-saints-of-nursing/

I have confidence that you can complete the degree. You’ve already achieved the hard part, that RN. You don’t have to aim for ‘perfection’ in that difficult class just completion. 🙂 (Or as my Engineer dad said when I was struggling with College Algebra , “Show your work! Partial credit adds up!” 😉 )

Family, like many people in general, sometimes just don’t ‘get it’ when we struggle. Unfortunately we may hope and sometimes expect better treatment, but too often other people fail us. Including family. The only one who won’t fail us is the Lord. Ask the Lord for some encouragement, it might surprise you. It could come from a comment of one of your current patients or a random news story.

Also, maybe you need to let your friends and family know you need some help. People really can’t read minds, and many times don’t know what you want by way of help. Maybe they would want to help when they know you want it. People often think “nurses” are competent. They are, but they too can use a kind word or a little extra compassion too! My mom was an RN for over four decades. I witnessed first hand how nurses pour themselves out in caring for others.

We are told to ‘Ask’ by Jesus. Matthew 7:7 "Ask, and it shall be given you: seek, and you shall find: knock, and it shall be opened to you. "

Don’t listen to discouragers. Nada.

Also don’t forget to ask your Guardian Angel for help while you work on your assignments and struggles and when you are tending to your patients. You are his patient!😃

Students Prayer

Loving Father,
I stand before You in the midst of confusion and complexities of life.
My future sometimes seems distant and unknown.
Give me, O Lord, the vision to see the path You set before me.
Grant me the courage to follow Your way,
that through the gifts and talents You have given me,
I may bring Your life and Your love to others.
I ask this through Jesus, Your Son and my Brother.

Amen.
