Blessings and Christ’s Peace to all warriors who inhabit this forum.
I am writing to ask for your prayers for the conversion of my husband.
We are off on a pilgrimage to Egypt, Jordan and Israel in October. My husband was brought up Catholic, and married me in the Church many years ago. I was not a Catholic, or even a Christian.
But, God has a sense of humor. In 1997 I had a beautiful conversion to the Church, and love my faith and hold fast to all the Church teaches, and…
My husband on the other hand is bitter about many aspects of the church, however, we love each other, and he doesn’t want me to go alone. (At least that’s what he says) Sometimes I hear things come from him and tell me that yes, his heart is softening. We will have a good priest journeying with us.
Please pray that this pilgrimage is a true conversion opportunity for him. I pray for him always, but I believe in the power of prayer and the help of my friends on earth and in heaven to intercede.

Blessings.

I will pray for your husband’s conversion, and for you and your group to have a safe and fruitful pilgrimage :gopray:

That your husband contemplate God and live in His word of obedience and love of his fellow man. That God make clear in your husband’s heart His word and action in all things in your life.

PRAYER OF
ST. SEVERINUS BOETHIUS
For Help To Contemplate God
Father, enable our minds
to rise to your ineffable dwelling place.
Let us find the light
and direct the eyes of our soul to You.
Dispel the mists and the opaqueness
of the earthly mass,
and shine out with Your splendor.
You are the serene and tranquil abode
of those who persevere in their goal of seeing You.
You are at the same time the beginning,
the vehicle, the guide,
the way and the goal.

Amen.

**You make a sound like The Men of Old from the Lord of the Rings.
I will pray for your husband. My wife was not Catholic when we meet.
But she had no qualms about converting because she wasn’t even Baptized.
I will pray for him and you.
