While remembering Jesus’ decription of the judgement of souls. [Matthew 25 verses 31-46]

And remembering God’s word that teaches us that it is practical kindness to others that is the reparation for sin that God desires,

“Cease to do evil. Learn to do good, search for justice, help the oppressed, be just to the orphan, and plead for the widow. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” [Isaiah 1:17-18]

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, pay heed to my cry, turn your ear to my prayer, no deceit is on my lips. Amen
