Prayer for discernment

I’m currently looking seriously at Catholicism and Orthodoxy. I’m an evangelical charismatic currently. I’m finding the discerning very difficult when it come to Catholicism and Orthodoxy, and wonder if I wouldn’t just be better off staying as I am. Please, as you feel led, pray for discernment about truth and for the courage I need to actually make the jump into the ancient church.
 
Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your discernment.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

But sometimes she is overwhelmed by the thought
of her future. Show her how to walk forward one day at a time.
May she take heart while she searches openly, learns all
about the choices, listens to others for advice, and pays attention
to her own feelings. By doing these things, may she hear Your call
to live a life that will let her love as only she can, and allow her to
serve others with the special gifts You have given her.
