Prayer for employment

Please pray for me, as I am getting married soon and moving to a new area. I have been proactive in my job search in an effort to find work in the new area, but still haven’t found anything. I have a few leads, but either they are not necessarily the job I want or they would be the job I want but they do not pay very much. Please pray for God’s will to be done and pray to St. Joseph the worker not just for me but for all that are unemployed, and all that are discouraged in regard to their work situation. I know God has a great plan for all of us. Thank you.
 
Praying that you get employment soon in the new area. Please God all will turn out well.
 
Holy Spirit who solves all problems, who lights all roads so that I can attain my goal. You who give me the divine gift to forgive and forget all evil against me and that in all instances of my life you are with me. I want in this short prayer to thank you for all things and to confirm once again that I never want to be separated from you, even and in spite of all material illusion. I want to be with you in eternal glory. thank you for your mercy toward me and mine.

This latter part…I would leave off…tis not really in the way of prayer and such. But more of the order of superstition…I understand it was written on the source so I understand why someone would include it -but really not something we ought to include.

Praying for you GratefulLeper and asking the Blessed Virgin to intercede for you as well. Praying that God will guide you in the right direction to finding employment and illumine your mind to know the right opportunities that lie ahead of you and to take advantage of them.
 
Dear Saint Joseph, you were yourself once faced with the responsibility of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly compassion upon GratefulLeper in his anxiety over his present inability to find work. Please help him to find gainful employment very soon, so that this heavy burden of concern will be lifted from his heart and that he is soon able to provide for those whom God has entrusted to his care. May all unemployed people soon find jobs as well.

We ask these mercies through our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with God Our Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
