I am in talks with a pizza shop to be a full fledged manager. For someone like myself this would be HUGE in terms of opening doors for my future and the ability to provide for my 2 children and spouse.

There has been allot of drama surrounding this whole senario and it’s fascinating to watch it all play out as I can obviously see God’s hand in it. I have the job offer and things are set in motion. Naturally they are trying to low ball me and I’m playing the part of trying to negotiate a fair pay for my services. I have never done this before. It’s all so new to me and all I’ve ever known since leaving home is minimum wage and poverty. Please pray for a resolution that satisfies all parties and this opportunity for me.

It’s easy to trust in the Lord, until it’s actually time to TRUST in the Lord if ya know what I mean.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

†

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

†

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

Praying that you secure this job with fair and adequate wages.
Hail Mary,
Full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amoungst women,
And blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,
Amen

Praying for you and your intentions.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Praying that this job opportunity works out for you and the negotiations stage will yield a good price for your services.

Mary.

Prayer to St. Joseph for Employment

Dear Saint Joseph, you were yourself once faced with the responsibility of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly compassion upon me in my anxiety over my present inability to support my family. Please help me to find gainful employment very soon, so that this heavy burden of concern will be lifted from my heart and that I am soon able to provide for those whom God has entrusted to my care. Help us to guard against bitterness and discouragement, so that we may emerge from this trial spiritually enriched and with even greater blessings from God. Amen.

Our Father:
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be
done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary:
Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death Amen.

Glory Be to the Father:
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is
now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

The Memorare
Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known,
that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help
or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To thee I come, before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petition,
but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

Let Nothing Disturb You
Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things are passing away:
God never changes.

Patience,
Obtains all things,
Whoever has God
Lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

Litany of Humility
O Jesus! meek and humble of heart, Hear me.
From the desire of being esteemed,**
Deliver me, Jesus.**
From the desire of being loved…
From the desire of being extolled …
From the desire of being honored …
From the desire of being praised …
From the desire of being preferred to others…
From the desire of being consulted …
From the desire of being approved …
From the fear of being humiliated …
From the fear of being despised…
From the fear of suffering rebukes …
From the fear of being calumniated …
From the fear of being forgotten …
From the fear of being ridiculed …
From the fear of being wronged …
From the fear of being suspected …

That others may be loved more than I,**
Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.**
That others may be esteemed more than I …
That, in the opinion of the world,
…others may increase and I may decrease …
That others may be chosen and I set aside …
That others may be praised and I unnoticed …
That others may be preferred to me in everything…
That others may become holier than I, provided that I may become as holy as I
…should…
Amen.

I appreciate all your prayers guys. I’ve been doing my part as well, going to mass, confession, taking Communion etc. AND praying.

It’s hard to go into details right now, but I’d love to share so far things have been going amazing. I am still in training and have 3 more weeks of training to go. Not only has this been going well but the current hostility towards me has been pushed out of my path. Many in this company were threatened by me and we’re extremely gossipy, rude, and down right mean. All of that has settled way down and the manager who was enabling these people and continuing his crooked actions…is now under investigation by the District Manager and CEO of the company.

Because of this investigation, his attitude has completely changed, has fought against all the hostility towards me and is trying his hardest to get me trained as to not stain his own reputation anymore.

I have no idea how this will end, but never on my life has such poetic justice played out before my eyes. It makes me seriously wonder if God does want me to continue as a pizza cook, something I’ve done my whole life, and management would help me enter into a livable wage.

…

By the way, I recently bought a green scapular, had it blessed, and have been saying the prayer each day. Something else interesting happened at work. A fellow with a shaved head whom I didn’t recognized brought his family and was chatting with me while tossing pizza. I hadn’t brought any food for dinner, and was hungry. Ironically I can’t eat pizza due to a health condition. I really wanted a sandwhich from a shop next door but it was too pricy for me to drop the money on.

Anyway, the man with the shaved head out of nowhere, asks if I wanted a gift card with just enough left over to cover the bulk of the cost for a sandwhich! I couldn’t believe it! What luck right? Well as this guy is getting up to leave I got a chance to glimpse the tattoo he has on the back of his shaved head. He looked tough so I wondered if it was a prison tattoo before I saw the image. But as soon as he turned around I saw a beautifully drawn tattoo of the Rosary praying hands!!

I kid you not, I feel like Mary herself bought me a sandwitch. I don’t care what the nay sayers believe

Learning Christ
Teach me, my Lord,
to be sweet and gentle in all the events of life;
in disappointments, in the thoughtlessness of others,
in the insincerity of those I trusted,
in the unfaithfulness of those on whom I relied.

Let me put myself aside,
to think of the happiness of others,
to hide my little pains and heartaches, so
……that I may be the only one to suffer from them.

Teach me to profit by the suffering that comes across my path.
Let me so use it that it may mellow me,
……not harden nor embitter me; that it may make me patient, not irritable;
……that it may make me broad in my forgiveness,
……not narrow, haughty and over-bearing.

May no one be less good for having come within my influence.
No one less pure, less kind, less noble for having been a
……fellow-traveler in our journey toward Eternal Life.

As I go my rounds from one distraction to another,
let me whisper, from time to time, a word of love to Thee.
May my life be lived in the supernatural, full of power and good,
……and strong in its purpose of sanctity.
