Saint Joseph, holy earthly father of the Son of eternity, our Lord Jesus, thank you for the love you bore Him in the beginning years of His earthly ministry. May your father’s love be a source of strength for those fathers whose love of their children may now seemingly be unknown to them. May we know that our continued love adds to the reservoir of love created by that heavenly love between Father, Son and Holy Spirit. May mutual father/child love be restored to the estranged through the grace of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Merciful God please grant this prayer for the sake of this father, and for all good fathers who have unwillingly been separated from their children.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

I humbly implore you to grant your special graces to our family. May our home be the shrine of peace, purity, love, labor and faith. I beg you, dear Jesus, to protect and bless all of us, absent and present, living and dead.

O Mary,

Loving Mother of Jesus, and our Mother, pray to Jesus for our family, for all the families of the world, to guard the cradle of the newborn, the schools of the young and their vocations.

Blessed Saint Joseph,

holy guardian of Jesus and Mary, assist us by your prayers in all necessities of life. Ask of Jesus that special grace which he granted to you, to watch over our home at the pillow of the sick and the dying, so that with Mary and with you, Heaven may find our family unbroken in the sacred Heart of Jesus.

Noble St. Joseph interecede for us who have been canonically separated from our spouses that the Lord grant us strength to endure until the end.
 
Prayer for Divided Families

Heavenly Father,
Please shine Your light on families divided by divorce or other
issues. Help parents set aside hard feelings so that each child
may have a father and a mother. May the love between parent
and child grow as they travel the path You laid out for them.

Inspire extended families to assist single parents and give their
children a sense of security. Help every orphan and foster child
to find parents who will love them.

Forgive each couple of their sins. May they also forgive one
another. If it is your will, reunite these couples. We ask this
through Christ Our Lord, amen.
