PRAYER TO ST. MONICA

Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant me that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for me, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear my plea for
and grant me the grace to accept His Will in all things,
through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.

Please join me in prayer for my daughter who plans on following an evangelical path. My heart is so sorrowful. Thank you for this prayer to help me cope.

Intercede for all mothers in our day so that they may learn to draw their children to God. Teach them how to remain close to their children, even the prodigal sons and daughters who have sadly gone astray. Amen.

Please Pray our brothers and sisters who have been led astray by the Church.

Please Pray for a very good friend of mine who was deeply hurt by a fellow Catholic and for all of those who were hurt by fellow Catholic’s or the Catholic Church. Let us also Pray for those who cause harm or hurtful words… Amen.

Dear Lord please hear the prayers for our loved ones that have strayed from the Church. Please also hear those prayers we have in our hearts. Thank Lord for listening and please bless all those on this forum who continue to pray for their family and friends to return to the Church and the sacraments.
