PRAYER TO ST. MONICA

Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant me that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for me, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear my plea for:

the conversion and strong faith of all who have lost their way, and of all those being prayed for here by CAF members,

and grant me the grace to accept His Will in all things,
through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.

you perseveringly pursued your wayward son
not with wild threats
but with prayerful cries to heaven.
Intercede for all mothers in our day
so that they may learn to draw their children to God.
Teach them how to remain close to their children,
even the prodigal sons and daughters
who have sadly gone astray.

We beg your intercession for all of our friends and family members who have “sadly gone astray”. In Jesus Name, we ask this. Amen.
 
I would like St .Monica to include these people who are my loved ones and are fallen away Catholics in her intercession to our LORD GOD . They are lost to our faith . These are : Marta, Monika, Olivia , Basia, Viola , Dagmara, Michaelina, Minella. Lisa , Ebru , EVE,SUSAN WANG B., RENATA , Jennifer D. .St. Monica I implore that you pray for each of these and as you did for your husband and son bring all of these back to our CATHOLIC FAITH and bring all those here listed in this forum as fallen away Catholics back to our faith . Praise the Lord , thank you St. Monica, amen . Thanks everyone for this thread . It is beautiful to pray for help from St. Monica for our loved ones . , your brother in Christ, John

I pray for my family and myself that we go back to the church. I have fallen away from the church, but I want to go back. I guess I have no excuse but just laziness. I have so many questions of my faith, but I don’t really don’t have anyone to talk to about that. My family really wasn’t church goers, I was the only one that went, but I don’t know what happen. Please help with some prayers.

Katy is so very right Gladys! What better time to return to Christ, than Holy week, a time when Christ suffered for our redemption! He is calling to you Gladys, answer His prayer, as he will always be there for you, guiding you and helping you to find the answers you need.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done,
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our Daily Bread,

St. Monica, We continue to plead for intercession for the conversion and salvation for all our family and friends.

We truly desire to see them in heaven, and to spend eternity with them, adoring the face of our Dear Lord, Jesus.

I ask your intercession for my sister who died on Holy Saturday. Jesus, I trust in You. Amen.

That they may return home and be faithful to our Eucharistic Lord.** Lord please hear our prayer. St. Monica please pray for us!** Amen.
