Prayer for fallen away Catholic family Members

Dear St. Monica,

Troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant to us that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for us, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear our pleas
for all non practicing Catholics and those
discerning conversion to Catholicism.

Exemplary Mother of the great Augustine, you perseveringly pursued your wayward son not with wild threats but with prayerful cries to heaven.
Intercede for all mothers in our day so that they may learn to draw their children to God. Teach them how to remain close to their children, even the prodigal sons and daughters who have sadly gone astray. Amen.

Please pray for both of my sisters and their families and for a family that used to belong to our Church but suddenly stopped attending.

For all my friends and family who have liberal Catholic views on such things as abortion, gay marriage, women priests and so on, and who don’t attend Mass or baptise their children. For their lack of respect for the sacraments and our Holy Father and clergy. For all fallen away Catholics that they may find their way back to the one Holy Catholic Apostolic Church in it’s fullness. Let us pray to St. Monica. Amen.

Dear Lord,

Please guide my daughter to the right way while she takes this journey of faith. Please guide and protect all our loved ones that we pray for on this forum. Give us the knowledge to say and do the right things to encourage them to come back to the church and not alienate our fallen away family and friends.

Dear Lord,
Please hear our prayers for our family and friends who have fallen away from the Church. Please guide them back dear God and give us the wisdom to know the right words to say to them to lead them back to the Church and the sacraments. We thank you for all the blessings you have bestowed upon us.
