O God, Who observed the devout tears and pleading of St. Monica and granted to her prayers the conversion of her husband and the penitential return of her son, Augustine, grant us the grace to implore Thee also with earnest zeal, so that we may obtain, as she did, the salvation of our own soul and the souls of those belonging to us. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
This is a very appropriate prayer. Thank you.🙂

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

St Monica, this is the toughest time of year for those of us who have fallen away family members. We need your intercession more than ever. Many of us have swords piercing our hearts as we see family members being unkind because of so many disagreements. My heart is pierced for many reasons during this season. Please help us be patient and help us to keep trusting that our prayers are not in vain.

Praying for my sister, and some friends who have fallen away. My sister is talking about going to mass again–but she needs our prayers. I will pray for and with you all, as well–for your own prayer intentions.

It is wonderful your sister is thinking about returning to Mass. That, in itself, is a huge step, because it shows the Holy Spirit is at work. I will keep her in my prayers, and will pray for everyone`s family members as I pray the rosary today.

Sincerely,

I am so grateful for all the prayers on this thread! I love to read about the successes! Some of us such as myself need to develop the virtue of patience. I hope to hear about many more successes throughout the year.
Mary, I know you are very busy during this Christmas season. Thank you for taking the time to hear our pleas. We will be hearing the words of rejection (no room in the inn) many times in our lives. We will not give up but keep searching for a place to give birth to Christ in the hearts of our loved ones.

For my friend Maria, for my cousin’s cousin, Guero. For my brother Sal, for my mom and dad. For my brothers and sisters and their spouses and their children. For my husband. For me and my daughter to never fall away.

Dear Saint Monica, In this season of exchanging gifts with our loved ones that have neglected the Sacraments for so long, please take our prayers to the Father that they will come to accept the True Gift of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Amen.

Thank you St. Monica for your intercession on my behalf. Thank you Father, Son and Holy Spirit for bringing me home. Thank you for all the prayers from people I will probably never met.

To All of you praying for fallen away Catholic family Members:

Two grown children had left their spouses and the church.

Happy and so thankful to report one grown child is going to Mass weekly and has talked to a priest. He is calmer and just a better all around person although divorce is probably a certainty and I never thought divorce would be the answer to my prayers. I must admit, this has me confused!

There will be a meeting with the second child. Hopefully, she, too will agree to talk to a priest and go back to the church.

Never give up on prayer! Thank you all so very much!!

St. Monica, thank you for listening to the prayers of all who seek your help. Just as Mary and Joseph were turned away by the inn keepers, and accepted a cold stable for such a wonderous birth…we must also be patient and await God’s answers to our prayers.

Prayer for my mom’s side of the family who has fallen away from the church. For them to come to the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharist. May they all be healed and brought to our Lord through His call and your prayers.

O holy Monica, by your patience and prayers you obtained from God the conversion of your husband and the grace to live in peace with him; obtain for us, we beseech you, the blessing of Almighty God, so that true harmony and peace may reign also in our homes, and that all the members of our families may attain eternal life. Amen.

I had a chance to speak with my bro the other day and we talked of the Catholic church etc. I thank you all for praying and St. Monica’s intercession. I pray for all. Amen.

Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant me that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for me, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear my plea for

and grant me the grace to accept His Will in all things,
through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.

Amen.
