Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,

A special prayer of thanksgiving to St. Monica and St. Therese of Lisieux for a “Godincidence” that arrived just as I was saying the Divine Mercy Chaplet today.

We certainly have some powerful “prayer partners”.

We give thanks to the entire Communion of Saints who are helping us to pray for all our beloved family and friends.
 
Likewise IndyAnn. A most awesome day here as well. My step son, Ramsey, consented to coming into the Church. Because of his Catholic education our pastor has agreed to recieve him into the Church on the first weekend in August. The Mass I was having said on Tuesday to intercede for his conversion is now going to be a Mass of thanksgiving!

My most heartfelt thanks for all who have interceded on behalf of Ramsey, both among the Church Militant and the Church Triumphant. A big “shout out” to St. Monica without whose intercession this would not have been possible. I plan to drive across town to St Monica’s with a big bunch of flowers to place before your statue on Monday.
