Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant to us that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for us, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear our pleas
for all non practising Catholics
and those discerning conversion to Catholicism,
for our families, including mine, for increase of faith for us,

Heavenly Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world. For the sake of His Sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us.

Blessed St. Monica, pray for us and our lost loved ones as you once prayed for your husband and child. May God’s Mercy and Love overshadow them and change their hearts. May we continue to be blessed with an abundance of grace and love to share with those around us who need it most.
