Prayer for fallen away Catholic family Members

Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant to us that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for us, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear our pleas
for all non practising Catholics
and those discerning conversion to Catholicism,
for our families, including mine, for increase of faith for us,
especially all in this thread. Amen.
 
In Jesus’ name, Father, please return our loved ones to You and the Church. Holy Spirit please enlighten them and give them truth and courage to return to full practice of the Catholic Faith.

My Brother is dying. In fact, he has outlived the 5 yrs. the doctors gave him. He fell away from Catholicism in college…back in the 60’s. I pray to you St. Monica to intercede on his behalf. He is in his heart a good man & he desperately needs God & the Church. Only you can know how much this would mean to me, as you suffered so much more because your own son was the unfaithful one. Please bring Frank back to the fold before it’s too late. And bless all who have turned to you on this thread. Give us your strength & faith,

Lord there are soooo many who need help other than I so I can only ask Lord that you do not look at my sins but at my humble prayer and have mercy on all those who have gone from the catholic church, for all the families in this prayer thread and have mercy on us all. Please forgive our sins and the sins of the families departed.

St. Monica, you know the heartbreak that we mothers endure. Please intercede for us for the conversion and salvation of all our families. We ask this in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen
