** Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant to us that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for us, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear our pleas
for all non practicing Catholics
and those discerning conversion to Catholicism,
for our families, including my son, for increase of faith for us,
especially all in this thread. Amen

In Jesus’ name, Father, please return our loved ones to You and the Church. Holy Spirit please enlighten them and give them truth and courage to return to full practice of the Catholic Faith.

Thank you for this thread. I have 3 children. My eldest is a practicing Catholic. My son has left the church to join another church. My youngest is searching. Its a mothers heart to desire for us all to come back to the faith. I believe that there is outside influence keeping them away. I see families together at church and pray that one day we will all be together in church. Christ’s Peace

Lord Jesus, merciful Saviour of the world,
we humbly beseech Thee by Thy Most Sacred Heart,
that all the straying sheep may turn unto Thee,
the Shepherd and Bishop of their souls:
Who livest and reignest world without end.

Amen

To St. Monica, Patroness of Mothers

Blessed Monica, mother of St. Augustine, we give thanks to our Father in heaven Who looked with mercy upon your tears over your wayward son. His conversion and heroic sanctification were the fruit of your prayers. Dear St. Monica, we now ask you to pray with us for all those sons and daughters that have wandered away from God, and to add your prayers to those of all mothers who are worried over their children. Pray also for us that, following your example, we may, in the company of our children, one day enjoy the eternal vision of our Father in heaven. Amen.

Saint Michael, Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and you, Prince of the Heavenly Host, thrust into hell satan, and all the other evil spirits who prowl the world for the ruin of souls. Amen
