Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant to us that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for us, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear our pleas
for all non practising Catholics and those discerning conversion to Catholicism, especially those
in this thread
Amen

I will pray. Most of my family has fallen away, so have I, but I’m back. THANK YOU LORD.
St. Monica, a praying mother who knows our sorrow, pray for us.:signofcross:

I wonder if there are any Catholic families in America who don’t have fallen-away family members. Very sad.
I believe that they will not be lost in the end, due to our prayers.
I would be interested in hearing success stories involving the Green Scapular.
Praying for all our families and all the strayed sheep…
