Prayer for fallen away Catholic family Members

In Jesus’ name, Father, please return our loved ones to You and the Church.
Holy Spirit please enlighten them and give them truth and courage.
Please surround them with Your light and love.
Mother Mary, please pray for them.
I ask their Angels and their patron Saints to pray for their return to the Catholic faith.
St Monica please intercede for them.
 
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death,

who fled to your protection,
implored your help, and
sought your intercession,
was left unaided.

Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, My Mother,
to you I come, before you I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions, but,
in your mercy hear and answer me
as I pray for the conversion of heart
for all whom we now pray,

to enter fully into the Catholic Church
as Christ’s Bride, never to stray or lose their way again
once they’ve found everlasting love in Jesus’ open arms.

Not to be overlooked or minimized,
Blessed Saint Monica,
Exemplary Mother of the great Augustine,
you perseveringly pursued your wayward son
not with wild threats
but with prayerful cries to heaven.
Intercede for all mothers and fathers
in our day so that we may learn
to draw our children (no matter their age) to God.
Teach us how to remain close to our children,
even the prodigal sons and daughters
who have sadly gone astray.
