Prayer for fallen away Catholic family Members

Dear St. Monica,

Troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant to us that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for us, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear our pleas
for all non practicing Catholics and those
discerning conversion to Catholicism.

Dear God,
Please hear our prayers and please guide us to do and say the right thing to our loved ones that have strayed from the Church. Help us not to despair and be strong during this difficult and heart wrenching time in our lives. Please allow our loved ones the knowledge and clarity to find their way back to their Catholic Church.

Please pray for my sister and her family and for a family that used to belong to our Church but suddenly stopped attending.

Dear God please give me the knowledge to deal with mine and your loved child. I pray that you will guide me because I don’t know what to say or do anymore. Please help me control my emotions. Help my child fill the void she was feeling and bring her back to the Church.
