Dear St. Monica,

Troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant to us that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for us, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear our pleas
for all non practicing Catholics and those
discerning conversion to Catholicism.

Amen
Amen

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Dear Lord hear our prayers for our fallen away family members and friends. I pray that they realize the mistakes they are making are come back to the Church and the Sacraments.

Amen

Almighty Father,
You desire not the death of the sinner, but that he may be converted and live.
Pour out upon us Your mercy and hear the prayers of Your servants.
Soften the hearts of Your children who have strayed from the true path
which You established for their salvation.
They are now forgetful of their duties as Catholics,
and pursue the pleasures of the world.
Grant that they may quickly return to the practice of every Christian virtue,
so that their lives may shine with the integrity of faith,
the fervor of piety, and the ardor of charity.
Restore them all to Your sacraments and the life of Your grace,
through the merits of the most precious blood of Your Son,
our Savior Jesus Christ.

Amen

Here is a prayer I often pray along with the Divine mercy Chaplet

*Lord Jesus, ever since You graced us with conversion You have continually called us to be humble servants and prayer warriors… You have given us Your Mother to be our Blessed Mother… Who continually invites us to pray for the conversion of poor sinners… especially those who like myself at one time have fallen away from their baptismal faith, the Roman Catholic Church, the Mystical Body of Christ…

Lord, have mercy on us sinners! O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a font of mercy for us, I trust in You!

And though I am most certainly a sinner and thus not even worthy to undo the straps of You sandals, I come before You meek and humble in prayer and petition this very day, beseeching Your most bountiful and infinite mercy to fall upon not just me and not just those dear to me who I am most concerned about, but upon all Your precious children once faithful flowers who for whatever reason have since fallen away from their baptismal faith… the same faith Your Spirit graciously welcomed them into…

Lord, have mercy on us sinners! O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a font of mercy for us, I trust in You!

Guide them dear Lord back into Your most Sacred Heart for they are Your precious children, little lambs, precious flowers, in most need of experiencing Your Love and Your Mercy in the Sacraments given us through the tender hands of Your priest’s… these precious flowers once knew and recognized their Lord in the Sacraments of the Altar much like St. John the Baptist who recognized his Lord even in his mother’s womb…

Lord, have mercy on us sinners! O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a font of mercy for us, I trust in You!

Now they hunger and thirst for Your most Precious Body and Blood temporarily unable to truly see You with Catholic eyes as they once did not long ago… and as they once praised You and worshipped You together with all of us in union with You, One Bread and One Body it is with great hope that we turn to You Lord asking this favor that one day these precious flowers, these little lambs will return to the same Church that gave them their footing early on in life…

Lord, have mercy on us sinners! O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a font of mercy for us, I trust in You!

As we see our Churches empty we often find ourselves asking where Lord have all the precious flowers gone? Our eyes swell with tears yet we cling to Your unfathomable mercy and place our trust in Your divine plan… Please Lord Jesus we beseech You to fill Your beautiful garden the Roman Catholic Church that You have given Your Blessed Mother, Our Mystical Rose, the unique role to tend to once again with the precious and beautiful flowers that once graced and bloomed Your Garden long ago… please Lord, we beseech You to bring them back into Your Most Sacred Heart and the Most Immaculate Heart of Your Mother Mary who becomes our Most Holy Mother to love us and to guide us along the way to salvation…

Lord, have mercy on us sinners! O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a font of mercy for us, I trust in You! Amen… *

Exemplary Mother of the great Augustine, you perseveringly pursued your wayward son not with wild threats but with prayerful cries to heaven.
Intercede for all mothers in our day so that they may learn to draw their children to God. Teach them how to remain close to their children, even the prodigal sons and daughters who have sadly gone astray. Amen.

Please Pray for our brothers and sisters who have been led astray by the Church.

Please Pray for a very good friend of mine who was deeply hurt by a fellow Catholic and for all of those who were hurt by fellow Catholic’s or the Catholic Church. Let us also Pray for those who cause harm or hurtful words… Amen.

In Jesus’ name, Father, please return our loved ones to You and the Church and lead them to live the fullness of Your loving will.
Please comfort and reassure all who grieve the absence of loved ones from the Sacraments. Please answer our prayers for them.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent,
but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will,
which is love and mercy itself.
