Here is what I have left for the next two weeks of the quarter:

My field portion of my Botany Final: Wednesday June 6 morning
A biochemistry quiz: Thursday June 6 noon
2 sociology of medicine essays: Monday June 11
Phenology project for my botany class: Wednesday June 13
Biochemistry final: Thursday June 14
Botany written final: Friday June 15

I am really scared, esppecially for biochemistry since my tutor died and it is too late in the year to request a new one. I need to ace all of them for my GPA. I am applying for pharmacy school this summer.

I worked too hard this to all go to waste. Pray I get an A in all of these classes.

Love you all.

Dear Jesus, please help redbetta do well on her finals. In Jesus’ Name I humbly pray.
Holy Mary, St. Joseph the Worker, and St. Joseph of Cupertino, please intercede. Thank you. Amen.

Our Father…
Hail Mary… (×3)
Glory Be…
O my Jesus…

(Full prayers offered.)

May God calm your fears and give you peace, a clear mind, and confidence to recall all that you’ve studied.

Prayers from a pharmacist of 34 years. You’ll do good, but it never hurts to have some prayers. Here’s one from the ‘dumb ox’:

Come, Holy Spirit, Divine Creator, true source of light and fountain of wisdom! Pour forth your brilliance upon my dense intellect, dissipate the darkness which covers me, that of sin and of ignorance. Grant me a penetrating mind to understand, a retentive memory, method and ease in learning, the lucidity to comprehend, and abundant grace in expressing myself. Guide the beginning of my work, direct its progress, and bring it to successful completion. This I ask through Jesus Christ, true God and true man, living and reigning with You and the Father, forever and ever.
Amen.

Prayed that you would pass all your aforementioned exams with flying colors…in Christ’s name, Amen.

St. Joseph Cupertino, please intercede for redbetta…Amen.

Hail Mary
Full of grace
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,
Amen

May your needs be met through the Lord!
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, Fatima, Amen…

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

†For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (redbetta), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

I pray that God blesses you and helps you ace your exams and essays. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

Thanks for the prayers guys. Keep them coming! I’m terrified for tomorrow.

Honest, people saying “just do your best” only infuriates me. It’s like telling a panicing person “don’t panic.” It makes things worse.

Honestly, just stop replying. It is not just my best. Miracles can happen.

The prayers are fine. But saying “do your best” is just infuriating. A generic copy and paste prayer would be preferable to that.
