The former pastor of our parish still helps out with Mass every so often. Today at the 11:45 Mass, after his homily, he had a stroke. Please pray for a full recovery.

May God bless him and help him prayerfully through this difficult time in his life.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen

Lord, please Have Mercy upon your servant, this pastor. They have dedicated their lives to spreading the Gospel, Lord, and I pray that You would help them in their suffering. Allow them to offer it up, Lord, but, most over, preserve both their life and their quality of life, if You so will it. Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, I pray. Amen.

He passed away today.

Please keep our parish in your prayers. He wasn’t the pastor, but the former pastor, but was still involved with the parish.
