Prayer for Grandmother

Please pray for my grandmother’s soul; she is about to die (or already has-I haven’t heard yet). She’s suffered through several small strokes in the last year-and-a-half, and was possibly depressed. Even when she was healthy she asked my dad “Why won’t the Good Lord just take me already?” Please pray for her and her soon-to-be grieving family of 14 children and 45 grandchildren.
 
Loving God,

We thank you for the many blessings in our lives and in particular we thank for the gift of loving grandparents today. We lift up the intentions of RainDown today and ask for your mercy and blessing on dear grandmother who has raised so many blessed children and been a loving inspiration to so many dear grandchildren. Lord, dear grandmother has been somewhat unhappy recently and possibly depressed. Lord we know that your son Jesus has prepared a special place for your people as he promised in the Gospel of John, Chapter 14. We pray that our Lord Jesus is making the special place for dear grandmother ready in accordance with your divine and perfect will. Jesus told us he would come and take us to the place he had prepared for us himself. We pray for this blessing for dear grandmother as your Holy plan for her life is fulfilled. Please give courage and strength to the family and help them be positive and loving ministers to dear grandmother. Please help this entire family to have a strong faith, great hope in You, and beautiful love for one another expressed through daily interactions. Please comfort grandmother in her time left with her family and hear the prayers of her loving family.

We pray in the name of your beloved son, our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

A grandmother is a special person. Your grandmother will be in my prayers. She sounds like a beautiful person, with a strong faith in God. She probably go straight to heaven.

Lord God, please bless this elderly woman as she enters the final months or years of her life. Give her the Grace to reconcile her remaining sin to You, and Have Mercy upon her, so that she may end her life peacefully, and enter successfully into the Light of Your Glory. Console her family, Lord God, if You so will it, and allow them to be at peace with the fullness of her life so far. Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, I pray. Amen.
 
Lord we ask You that everything You desire for this grandmother’s life be fulfilled, as she faces her last hours. Please let the gifts You wish for her children and grandchildren be granted. Let Your love and light surround this entire family.

I will pray the chaplet of Divine Mercy for your grandmother today.
 
Thank you all for your prayers. She just died about 5 minutes ago. Your prayers meant very much to me.
