Prayer for guidance

A minor issue compared to other prayer requests here, but I’d still appreciate your prayers.

I have been offered a job closer to home with better money in a less stressful environment, but the work I am currently doing is quite special and we are either on the brink of great success or fairly spectacular failure. The “human dynamic” of the current workplace is quite flawed and it is only the importance of the work that keeps many of us there.

I don’t want to take the new job and then regret not being part of this success should things go well in the next two years. And once I step out of this work it will be hard to go back. On the other hand I may look back and think I got out in good time.

I’m also not convinced the potential new boss’s faith in my suitability for this new role is quite justified. I don’t want to take on this job that he is really keen for me to take and then let him down.

I’d be grateful for you prayers for guidance.

Grant that Guitar may fill where you are leading him to be. This we ask through the intercession of the Blessed Mother in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

I am very grateful to you for your kind prayers. There is no “human” way of making this decision as all factors seem hold each other in equilibrium and so it really is a matter of discerning where does God want me to be.
