Prayer for Hair Growth

Hey Everyone.

I’m an 18-year-old with a pretty high hairline, I know I shouldn’t be worrying about things like this… But it honestly bothers me the comment I get on it…

Is there a novena or something for this?

Not that you will ever go completely bald, or bald any time soon, but you can always find inspiration from bald role models. The real issue is the fear of not being accepted and the fear of not being perceived as handsome; this is a fear that has to be conquered. Pray instead for God to grant you the grace to grow in character without relying on a hairdo as a comfort blanket. Baldness is a battle that most men have to deal with. At 18 you are a man now, and men have to be men. As for fear of not being attractive to women, realize that hair is no match to personality and confidence. As for baldness itself, baldness does have a purpose, as it serves to forge a certain character and steers certain temperaments away from a road which a man may travel had he a beautiful head of hair. I think it’s a great opportunity for character building. And then again, one can be bald and still be handsome…

You can pray a novena of course, but if your hair is thinning at 18 you are definitely going to go bald unless God miraculously changes your genetics.

I know it’s a personal issue but I’ll just say with experience of going bald myself: there seems to really be a lot of women that actually like a shaved head and I’m not just saying that to make you feel better. Or you can get a hair transplant.

I kid you not when I say this. Nor will I even care if you think I’m trolling!

Hair is actually growing down. Like impossible medically… And it’s not just a mental thing either! But I have at least a few more millimeters of hair!
I am not kidding you! 😂

Thank you for your prayers, and thank you God for these Catholics who are praying for me!
