Prayer for Huck

Already caught up in my new position and I am asking for prayers for one of my guys. Huck is homeless and living in the streets. He is clearly mentally ill, but refuses treatment or to “come in”. This sweetheart of a man promised me that he would shower and clean his clothes on Monday, because he is trying to find work! Please pray for him, that God will lead us to some help for his problems, which are not his fault,(he doesn’t use any substances). Pray for healing, for God to keep him safe and warm, and for his sanity. Thanks

Thanks to all of you for your prayers. Huck did as he promised me and came in today CLEAN and showered, his hair combed! We talked and I believe that he might agree to come in and possibly get a small unit to himself.
Please continue those prayers- this is good work in short order!

Pray for both Kevins, Roberts and Brian, also.

Just think how wonderful God is! Just a few weeks ago, you were worried about losing your job… See what God has done! I’m so proud of you! I will definately be praying for Kevin, Kevin, Robert, Robert, Brian, and Huck! God has blessed them with you!
May he continue to bless them with others like you in their lives.

Happy to hear of some good news re Huck…Deo Gratius…and will continue to pray for him along with Kevins, Roberts and Brian…
 
Thank you again… i have more good news to report: Huck has agreed to think about coming inside after a freezing weekend in the 20’s. He has also been very clean, and washed all his clothes yesterday, as well.
I think that he is not really crazy, but has just lost his faith in humanity. He actually walked here to Boston from New york (or Gotham, as he calls it). Keep up your prayers for this man to return to life. It would please me no end for him to come to a love of God, as he practices paganism now.
