Prayer for Husband to Find Work

My husband made a mistake that cost him his job. He has provided for our family for over 20 years and is devastated. He is a faith filled man who leads our family in prayer and to Mass. He has been prayerfully looking for work, praying, going to confession, etc. But he is losing hope. I am working, but we are at risk financially and have several children to provide for.
Please pray for his confidence, for him to have hope and courage and for him to find employment that will enable him to provide for our family. We really need God’s grace and mercy.

I will pray the rosary everyday for your husband and you. May God’s goodness lead your husband to an even better job.

I know all too keenly what it’s like to be unemployed, worried and at times fearful.
 
I’ll definitely pray for your family! Can you please also pray that my husband finds good work once his current contract expires? 🙂
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

Praying my heart out for your husband to find a great job. I pray daily for all of the unemployed.
 
I will pray for those who respond to a mistake without forgiveness, if a mistake were truly made by your husband. May St. Joseph lead your husband to Egypt where the murder of innocents can be remembered in silent prayer without the threat of violence to your family.

May the darkness that blinds so many to the truth of Christ and the true nature of brotherhood be dispersed from our land. May Our Father’s will be done, may His Kingdom come.

God Bless all those who labor and struggle to keep families and the sacramental union of husband and wife as a veritable sign upholding the source of life as God intended.

Thank you all for your prayers. He has found a good job that is part time and is still desperately seeking full time work.
But this is a step, lessens the bleeding financially, and gives him some hope.

We are praying together so much more and I can, when calm, see the growth coming to us through this very trying time WHEN we are faithful to Him, prayerful, strong in our faith, and supportive of one another.

Lots of St. Michael’s prayers going up to in an effort to help keep the anxiety, upset and at bay.
