Prayer for Injured Dog

This may sound a very silly request. But please pray to St. Francis for the recovery of my one-year old Bichon-Poo, Lucy. She was hit in the head full speed with a baseball in a freak accident and is making a slow recovery. We’ve only had her a year and she’s the first pet I’ve ever had so I feel absolutely terrible. It’s very hard to watch a once lively, happy, and wildly energetic dog sleep in her bed all day in pain. Any kind of prayers would be much appreciated, I’m completely devastated 😦

Yes, it’s very distressing, and I’m sure that your love and care is giving her comfort and strength to recover. May the Lord bless you and your little dog. In the simple, faithful affection the dog gives is a reminder of God’s non-judgemental love.
