Prayer for Jack Chick

Hey,

I just thought it would be a great idea if we could all pray for Jack Chick. As you may know, he’s a vehement anti-Catholic who uses exaggerated and distorted presentations of Catholicism to promote his own fundamentalist views. So, I think it would be great (if this site allows it) to pray that Jack Chick realize (as Saul did) that he is doing wrong by maligning the Church of Christ.

Perhaps Jack Chick, through prayer, will become a Roman Catholic :clapping:

Imagine the stir that would cause!
 
Praying for Jack Chick is a great idea. He sure could use them. 😃

To be honest though…I go to his site alot of times. After all, General Patton during WWll studied the tactics of the Desert Fox in order to understand his moves and how to BEAT HIM at his own game. KNOW YOUR ENEMY 🤓

Ok, enemy may be a bit harsh, but at least learn the tactics of those who attack the church that Christ built.
 
I encountered my first Jack Chick comic hate book when I was 19 and opening mail at a corporation.

We sent out Business Reply Envelopes to our customers.

Though we were the United States Golf Association, someone kept mailing us back, at our expense this awful hate literature.

It was the first time I realized that there are groups and individuals who viscerally and violently hate the Catholic Church.

I just hated golfers.
 
My kids always got Jack Chick literature when they trick or treated. I wasn’t interested in the Catholic Church at that time and had no idea who Jack Chick was. I always pitched it because I thought the comics looked so cheesy and I didn’t want my kids reading about some little girl on her death bed. Not so festive for preschoolers!

man talk about tasteless these comics deal with some very serious scenarios. Death usually in horrific unexpected accident then the judgemnet where the catholic inenvialby goes to hell because he trust the church rather than christ. Giving this to a catholic child is downright curel and mentally abusive. Someone should sue these fundies for handing out hate speech.
 
Ahhhh Jack Chick comics.

As an adult I read them for the purely unintentional comedy in them.

I live in Boston, and I’m a HUUUUGE Sox fan, (I;m sure some of you know this already.) Anyway, there is a guy who sits outside Fenway on game days, and hands out these stupid Chick tracts. Every so often I take them. I stop, read them, and then make devil horns at the guy who hands them out and say BWAHAHAHAHAHHA I’M AN EVIL CATHOLIC!!! BUT WHAT YOU FAIL TO REALIZE YOU SILLY PROTESTANT IS THAT YOU’RE GOING TO HELL!!! YOU’RE A HERETIC, WE’LL BURN YOU AT THE STAKE IN THE SEVENTH INNING STRETCH MUAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!
 
Ok so this thread is really ancient but I just thought I’d revive it. I think it’s a good idea to pray for anti-Catholics such as Jack Chick. 👍
 
It will take him literally getting knocked off his horse.

I think that man enjoys the thought of people being in hell.
