Prayer for Jim and his family

Yesterday, Boy Scouts lost a great leader and the world lost a wise and fun loving man. Moreso, a wife lost a husband, parents lost a child, a son lost a father, brothers lost one of their own, we lost a friend and our troop lost a mentor.

Jim died from cardiac arrest while doing something he dearly loved with friends that dearly loved him in a setting in nature which beauty is beyond description. Jim was a scoutmaster emeritis. He has kept working selflessly to aid in the maturing of boys in our program eventhough his son has moved on to other scouting endevours.

Jim was 55, and his son is 21. Please pray for him, his family, his friends and coworkers, and our troop’s boys. Thank you.
 
God, please bless and comfort this family in their loss of someone so precious. Grant that all that Jim did that was generous and good will live on to bear fruit,and to bless his family, his hriends, and all whom he served. God, please welcome his soul into eternal joy and peace. Thank You for all Your blessings to, and through Jim’s life.
 
God, I offer a special prayer for Jim who was a special child of Yours. Please give his family and friends comfort for may the Holy Spirit surround them with the knowledge that Jim is in heaven now and always smiling down on them as their protector too in Your company…
 
Father, we thank you for Jim and people
like him who aid our children in their growth
and maturity. I pray that his soul be permitted to
enter your eternal heavenly home. Grant strength,
peace and comfort to his family, friends, and scouts.
We ask all of this in the name of Jesus.
