Prayer for Kim who suffers with Fibromyalgia

Please join me in praying for Kim who suffers with fibromyalgia and unremitting depression. She is suffering greatly as she grieves the loss of her health and the physical abilities she once had.

We pray for Kim and others suffering with fibromyalgia and depression.
When her physical and psychological wounds are keenly felt; we pray, Lord, have mercy.

When it seems no one understands her pain and fatigue, we pray, Lord, You know.

When she is confused and her thinking is clouded, we pray, God of wisdom, help her to think clearly.

When her nights are sleepless, we pray, God, make her to sleep in peace, and safety.

When fibromyalgia has rent her heart in two, we pray,
Heal her broken heart, O God.

When the world is too much and she needs respite, we pray, Lord, be her hiding place.

When the pain is too much, and she feels like she might shatter, we pray, Holy One, heal her.

When she cannot see a path forward, we pray, Thy will be done.

We pray this through the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes and in the name of your Son, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Kim). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Kim’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus
as the Divine Healer. Great Wonder Worker, in your
kindness, please intercede for Kim, who suffers from
fibromyalgia and depression.

Please pray that God will grant her: restoration of her
pain receptors; relief from depression; comfort, peace,
and patience in suffering; the fullness of life on earth;
and a home in eternal glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
